I'll also take suggestions for shows that would be age appropriate.A little background about of the Seven Deadly Sins He's a fairly smart kid but I don't want him growing up watching shows normalizing sexual assault.
The overall theme of the show seemed to be more young adult side, which if that were the only non-age appropriate thing I wouldn't worry. Is this a common occurrence in the show? Showing blatant sexual assault in an attempt at humor? I know female anime characters are often overly sexualized, but I'm trying to look at the way she's dressed as everything is as covered as it would be at the beach. Again we had the talk about how that is not okay and the show was turned off. He started the second episode but within a minute the main character is lifting up the back of the girls skirt. We watched the rest of the first episode. I paused it and explained there is NOTHING okay with that. In the first episode there is a scene where the main character grabs an unconscious girls boob, repetitively. When we couldn't find it on the kids Netflix it was a small red flag but he really wanted me to see the show. I have an 8 year old son that wanted to show me the show he's been watching with his dad. That being said I'm reaching out for advice. But I don't judge what others watch, to each his own. First I want to start by saying that I don't watch anime, it's not my thing.
